Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lift Heavy, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

Description of service

Lift Heavy is a workout tracking application designed to help you log exercises, track progress, and manage your fitness journey. The app provides:

• Workout logging and history tracking
• Strength Standards, Fatigue Score, Muscle Heatmap, and other progress analytics
• Workout templates and planning tools, including support for hybrid, CrossFit-style, Hyrox, and Olympic training
• 1RM calculator and percentage tables
• Siri voice integration for hands-free logging

User responsibilities

When using Lift Heavy, you agree to:

• Use the app only for its intended purpose of fitness tracking
• Maintain the security of your device and data
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the application
• Consult with healthcare professionals before beginning any exercise program

Health disclaimer

Important: Lift Heavy is a fitness tracking tool only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your physician or qualified health provider before starting any new exercise program or if you have questions about a medical condition.

The one-rep max calculations, training percentages, Strength Standards, Fatigue Score, and other metrics provided are estimates based on established formulas. Individual results may vary based on factors including but not limited to fitness level, form, and physical condition.

Intellectual property

All content, features, and functionality of Lift Heavy, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are the exclusive property of Lift Heavy LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Data and privacy

Your use of Lift Heavy is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The vast majority of your data is stored locally on your device. The optional Snap to Log feature transmits images to our server for processing, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

Lift Heavy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the application.

We are not responsible for:

• Any injuries sustained during exercise or training
• Loss of data due to device failure or user error
• Inaccuracies in calculated metrics or estimates
• Third-party services or integrations

In-app purchases & subscriptions

Lift Heavy offers optional paid features:

• Pro Subscription (monthly or yearly): Unlocks unlimited Snap to Log scans and removes all in-app advertising. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Free tier: All analytics, plans, calculators, and tracking features remain free. Snap to Log includes 3 free scans per month. The free tier is supported by ads served by Google AdMob — see our Privacy Policy for details on what data AdMob receives.

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time through your Apple ID settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions). Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Advertising

The free tier displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Pro subscribers do not see ads. By using the free tier, you acknowledge that ads will be shown and that limited, non-identifying data (device identifier, coarse location, ad interaction) will be shared with AdMob as described in our Privacy Policy. You agree not to interfere with, block, or attempt to circumvent the advertising functionality except by subscribing to Pro.

Modifications to service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of Lift Heavy at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Termination

You may stop using Lift Heavy at any time by uninstalling the application. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the app for users who violate these terms.

Governing law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
